Marvin Gaye: Trouble Man Soundtrack - 1972

The Trouble Man Soundtrack contains some fine funky, Blaxploitation typically soundtrack moments  - with Marvin playing the synthesiser Stevie Wonder had given him - particularly Trouble Man and “T” Plays It Cool

Add to those two corkers some excellent funk and saxophone breaks scattered around but, however, the overall effect is one of a sprawling album that doesn’t grab one’s attention for long parts. It functions better as background music.
