The Flying Burrito Brothers: The Flying Burrito Brothers - 1971

This was the group's first album without Gram Parsons, Rick Roberts replaced him on vocals.

The result was an album that matched up to its extremely unimaginative title, offering nothing remarkable at all - just a solid country rock album of which there were many around this time. Country rock was all over the place in the early seventies, after all.

The standout tracks all came towards the end of the album and included a respectable cover of Bob Dylan's To Ramona along with some more good ones in Four Days Of RainCan't You Hear Me Calling and All Alone.
