Blondie

Blondie are all about the spirit of 1978 for me. That was the year I really got into them via Denis, X Offender, I'm Always Touched By Your Presence Dear and the Parallel Lines album. Soon they had become super big, crossing over from punk's coat-tails to conquer the charts and their cultish appeal faded a little as far as I was concerned. They will, however, remain new wave royalty. You can't beat those first four albums.
