Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton's best work is when he plays the blues, although there are country rock-ish exceptions to be found, particularly on the Eric Clapton, 461 Ocean Boulevard and Slowhand albums. However, I have reviewed far more of his albums than I should have done, really. Thinking about it, I could have stuck with the three already mentioned plus Layla, Backless and Journeyman, but I didn't and I found, in picking up several CDs dirt cheap, that each album has something of merit on it. Even the "just another Eric Clapton album" ones.
